Secondly, do your best to complete one sentence a day and thus all 24 sentences before the Spring semester begins. Sentences are taken from Lexis Readings 49-54, which are review but in the context of a new story (the Battle of Thermopylae). By reading these sentences, you will acquire new vocabulary, context of our next story, and some new syntactic details. Most importantly, though, you will keep up your Greek over the long Winter Break and avoid losing what you fought to learn in the Fall. So when the semester commences in the Spring, you will hit the ground running rather than struggling to remember all that you forgot.
